Lawsuit Filed Over Fatal Dump Truck Accident
A truck driver, his employer and an Illinois quarry were negligent in the death of a 13-year-old boy who was crushed by a dump truck loaded with gravel, a lawsuit filed Wednesday claims. Ryan Hennemann was crushed after the driver asked him and a friend to help him unload the truck. According to the lawsuit, the truck was overloaded and driven by an unqualified and unlicensed driver. The lawsuit names James. T. Griffen, J & C Construction Co. and Falling Springs Quarry Company. Beth Hundsdorfer, Belleville News-Democrat 06/03/2009.
